Chris Muckley grew up in San Diego County, then went to college at Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo. He returned to San Diego in 1995 when he got hired at 91X radio, where he was the music director and a full-time on-air personality. In 2003 Chris decided to get into real estate sales, where he has been a top-producer ever since. He was named Rookie of the Year in 2004 at Prudential California Realty, and was the #1 agent at Ascent Real Estate, Inc. in 2008, largely due to his healthy inventory of bank-owned properties that year. Chris is proud to have been one of the first agents to join Ascent Real Estate, Inc. at its inception in 2005. At this point, Chris Muckley oversees the day-to-day operations of his team, and works with institutional sellers. He can still be heard occasionally on 91X.

Kelly Shilling began her career in Real Estate 25 years ago working in her family-owned renovation and restoration business based in Brooklyn, NY. She relocated to San Diego in 1999 and quickly gained her footing in San Diego’s Real Estate Market. With over 10 years experience here in San Diego, Kelly has navigated a changing Real Estate market, has extensive knowledge of the foreclosure and short sale markets, and enjoys representing both Buyers and Sellers. She stills holds onto her passion for home renovation offering more insight to her clients.

Ryan Johnstone grew up in the Napa Valley of Northern California. He then went out of state for college attending Texas A&M University at Galveston where he majored in Marine Transportation. Upon graduation he moved back to the Napa Valley and commuted back and forth to Louisiana where he worked for 5 years in the Offshore Oil Industry. In his time there he moved from a Third Mate Unlimited to a Second Mate Unlimited and was in charge of navigating ships up to 660 feet long in the oil fields of the Gulf Of Mexico. In 2004 he moved from Napa down to his current residence in the community of Pacific Beach here in San Diego. In 2006 Ryan resigned from the oil industry and began working as a Realtor in San Diego specializing in the Downtown, Metro, and Metro Beach areas. Ryan Johnstone prides himself on his extensive knowledge of the areas real estate and his “non-salesman” approach to working with his clients. Now in his 5th year of selling real estate, he is excited about all the past clients he has helped and looks forward to helping even more people realize their dreams of home-ownership for years to come.

Becky Bickmore grew up in south Texas and briefly attended Texas State University in San Marcos, Texas. In 1999, she joined the Marine Corps and after a year of training, was stationed at MCAS Miramar here in San Diego. As a cryogenic technician, Becky was deployed to Kuwait in 2001 with Operation Southern Watch, and again for Operations Enduring and Iraqi Freedom in 2003, earning several Certificates of Commendation, two Navy Achievement Medals, and a Presidential Unit Citation (unit-wide award). Upon her return to the States, she finished out her contract, and was honorably discharged in April of 2004. Realizing she had fallen in love with San Diego, she chose to remain, and spent the next few years working as a painter for a local remodeling company. At the urging of her friend Chris Muckley, Becky obtained her Real Estate license in 2007 and began working with him on his bank-owned inventory and learning the business. She now specializes in assisting buyers and sellers in the San Diego metro area, and is proud to be a part of Ascent Real Estate, Inc. and Chris Muckley’s team.

Samantha (Sam) Marcrum grew up in San Diego County and attended college locally. She has extensive background in administrative processing and is a Certified Microsoft Office Specialist, as well as a Certified Signing Notary. As a Transaction Coordinator for over 7 years, Sam has assisted with the many different types of transactions that the ever-change market has presented. A constant student of the Real Estate process, Sam helps to assist the Muckley Team with running their transactions smoothly.
